What I do
I picked up design in 2011 because I was curious. I started as a web designer, then went deeper into interfaces and full product work. That curiosity has now spanned sixty-plus projects across startups, agencies, and in-house teams. Most of my energy goes toward solving business problems at two levels: the systems we ship, and the people who ship them.
In the 15+ years since, I've gone deep in healthcare, ERP, e-commerce, fintech, edtech, and legal. I spend my time on product thinking, design strategy, and shipping work that helps users and moves the business.
How I lead
Today I'm at Leapfrog Technology, where I lead design alongside product and engineering. I actively design and architect enterprise SaaS platforms and design systems; a lot of my recent focus is using generative AI to modernize how we work so we ship solutions faster.
I also lead a team of 20+ designers. My management style is practitioner-first: I mentor from active experience in the craft, not only from the sidelines. I focus on removing bottlenecks, improving design ops, and helping people grow their careers so we ship better work together.

Off-screen
Away from the screen I make time for art, music, and long rides on two wheels, and for family—playing with my son and slowing down together when I can. I shoot photos as well—some of them land on Instagram and the Unsplash community.
